Deep South is the ongoing project of Melbourne-based photographer Sean Fennessy, capturing the everyday life of Australia’s island state: Tasmania. Banal or beautiful, only the viewer can decide, but Sean’s photos certainly capture suburban stillness, with a calm observational tone. Bake sales, dog shows, the Lion’s Club, each captures a moment of life in the ‘burbs.
