Flaminia Saccucci graduated from Central Saint Martins with a degree in print design in 2011. Her graduate collection received a lot of acclaim and hype: she sold the collection through the Browns Focus initiative, Solange wore her dress to the MET, and she was awarded the L’Oreal Professional Young Talent Award for ‘best student collection’. Made from latex, leather and tulle, the collection focused on pretty floral prints, contrasted with a rubber tyre print. Since then she has been a little quiet in the press, but only because her talents were swiftly snapped up by none other than Riccardo Tisci. Not long after her graduation Flaminia moved to Paris, to work for Givenchy. If this is her graduate collection, we’re looking forward to seeing her work after she’s been given a workout on the Givenchy design team!
