Ekaterina Gerasimova is a recent recent graduate of the London College of Fashion. For her final collection the designer created an 8-piece range embellished with surface textile techniques including embroidery, appliqué and felting to create lavish tactile imagery. Exploring cultural expressions of identity, Ekaterina’s textile placements were inspired by Sailor Jerry tattoos, Latin American fables and religious symbolism.
