Obviously as a textile studio we love print, but that being said, sometimes it is nice to marvel at clever colour combinations – especially when they surprise you with how great they look together. That was our immediate thought when we saw Miuminku‘s A/W 2013 collection. Mustard, peacock blue, candy pink and orange red in boxy block cuts. The designers, sisters Nikita and Tina Sutradhar, based the collection titled ‘Mundane Things’ off the beauty of the everyday. The colours are taken from sponges, washing detergents and plastic household items.
