ARCHIE ROACH INTO THE BLOODSTREAM CONCERTS from Speaker TV on Vimeo.
Recent years have seen Australia’s beloved singer-songwriter Archie Roach suffer a number of hardships. His recent album Into the Bloodstream has been a process of calm and healing.
The live show was in many ways the story of Archie’s life – spanning his childhood, his stolen years and his long love for Ruby. Rachael Maza and Isaac Drandich (Ilbijerri Theatre Company) direct the performance which comprises a star-studded 13-piece musical ensemble directed by Craig Pilkington (album producer), a 10- voice gospel choir led by Lou Bennett (Black Arm Band, Tiddas) and specially curated visuals and lighting by Tim Cole. It’s a celebration of life and good medicine straight Into the Bloodstream.
Think Positive printed the beautiful ochre scarf worn by Archie’s choir.
