Brooklyn artist Esther Ruiz thinks of her sculptures as little settings or mini landscapes unto their own. With a futuristic industrial feel, the bright pop colours of her materials reflect against their gritty concrete bases; it’s easy to see why her sculpture feel like miniature otherworldly cities.
