Frédéric Lagrange is a French photographer based in New York. He has taken photos for the world’s major publications and contributed to award-winning advertising campaigns. But his passion lies exploring the far corners of the world from Myanmar, Kashmir to the desolate canyons of Afghanistan. One of his most well known photos is this photo of an Afghan woman. Taken in the Wakhan Corridor, North Eastern Afghanistan, Frédéric captured only 2 frames and she walks past him. The deep coral blue burqa against the backgroup of the mountains make a beautifully serene and striking image.
