LA artist Aaron Morse’s creates hypercoloured mythical dreamscapes using a mix of painting and collage. They are loud and energetic, even a little unsettling, perhaps eluding to a sense of impending doom our natural world faces. Each also has a sense of history as an imagined garden of eden, which is probably why he has been described as ‘part history painter, part archivist, part cosmic philosopher’.
