The world of interiors can feel a little homogenised sometimes, it’s always exciting to discover a true gem. This is the home of a visionary Italian designer, architect, graphic designer, set designer, photographer, writer, racing driver and aviator Carlo Morino.
Close to the Po, a few hundred meters from Piazza Vittorio, in Turin, Italy his mausoleum or what he would describe as “the home for the rest of the warrior.”
He spent the sixties designing the furnishing elements from oysters-shaped chairs to animalier wallpaper, up to his bedroom where a large boat lies on a blue water-like carpet and a group of butterflies flies on the wall.
