Mondo Mondo is the jewelry line of Texan-born, New York based Natasha Ghosn. “Mondo” meaning “world” is the perfect name for her magic jewels. “There’s a cinematic ring to it'” she says. “Movies are like little worlds.”
Trained by local artisans in Mexico, Natasha has expanded on that foundation of traditional craftsmanship. Her mood rings are our favourite, but don’t read further if you’d prefer to leave a little to magic. The crystals of the ring react to changes in temperature by twisting. The twisting changes their molecular structure, which alters the wavelengths of light or color that are reflected or absorbed. When the temperature of the liquid crystals changes so will their colour.
