Chyrum Lambert is an American artist based in Los Angeles. Refining his works using hand-cut mixed media of ink wash, acrylic paint, oil paint, wax, rit dye, rust wash, pencil, electrical tape and other appropriate forms of medium, all hand cut and adhered to paper.
His paintings are made up of cut-and-paste figures and grid-like systems which create his texture palette and develop his paintings of patterns and abstract shapes, which subtly suggest lost formations in a geographical sense .
The textures and colour combinations throughout his work coordinate an effort of simplistic proportion. Broken then remade again.
