Delight in the Detail

I guess there is someone out there who loves minerals more than we do. And does a better job at taking photos of them! Thomas Shearer has a vast collection of macro photographs of polished agate. Dion Lee SS15

Dion Lee‘s SS15 collection showed at New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Despite the international stage, Dion draws inspiration from his homeland. Referencing expatriate Australian painter Jeffery Smart’s “industrial roadside landscapes”, Dion wanted to capture the artist’s use of dark undertones, without compromising on colour.
