Berta Fischer a Berlin-based artist who works with bold-hued synthetic materials, such as acrylic and PVC, to create sculptures that play with the principles of form and light. An hour and half outside of Tokyo Hitachi Seaside Park is park carpeted in blooming flowers all year round. The park is known for its fields of baby blues, rivers of tulips and pine forest clearings of daffodils surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Definitely on our travel hit list!
