Quizzical birds, chairs, flowers all contribute to the absurdist settings of her paintings with stage-like sensibility where perspectives are reshaped, colour inflated and elaborate patterns feature throughout. Sweet

Kollectiv is the design duo of Stefanie Högl and Matthias Borowski. Their recent project titled ‘The Importance of the Obvious’, uses the colours, textures, layering, and expressions of sweet and candies to create saccharine-inspired furniture. From nougat, to liquorice allsorts, candy and furniture seem like an unlikely pair, but we think they’re pretty sweet together.
