Illonois artist Chad Wys reappropriates old art world images so simply but in a way that gives them new life and context. In his own words: “At its broadest point, my work concerns the examination of visuality: of images and objects, decorations and art and how the manifestations of the reproductions of these materials come to influence our everyday experiences.”
For their Autumn 2014/Winter 2015 collection, Chad collaborated with the UK-based fashion house Lulu & Co to produce several garments featuring his artwork. More here.
