Romance Was Born has been working hard! After the success of their MBFWA presentation, the label has released the lookbook for their pre-collection 2012. Their digital prints are the work of Australian artist Stephen Bush, who is known for his Australian landscape paintings in psychedelic abstract colour, often incorporating elements of the absurd (including a long-term obsession with the French cartoon Barbar). Alongside candy swirls, shimmer suits, painterly kimono jackets, the result is an oozing pop-coloured phantasm.
